Sebastian Burduja admits that he did not vote for Gabriela Firea, eight years ago

Sebastian Burduja, the PNL candidate for the Capital City Hall, admitted on Thursday evening, in a show on Digi 24, that he did not vote for Gabriela Firea, the PSD candidate for the same position, eight years ago.

“I think I wasn’t even in the country, but I never voted for the Social Democratic Party,” he said.

“That’s why you didn’t vote for Gabriela Firea, because of the party she belongs to. We saw a kind of team, maybe you can explain to us what we saw, what it was… along with the adventure, the experience, the Cătălin Cîrstoiu period between you and Gabriela Firea. Did this team exist or was it just claimed, announced?”continued the creator of the show.

“I teamed up with Mr. Cîrstoiu, who was designated by the leadership of the National Liberal Party to be this common candidate, with the idea that he will succeed in catalyzing the liberal electorate and subsequently have a solid majority in the General Council. Unfortunately, this did not happen and we lost precious time, we upset the people of Bucharest, so these errors were made. I would definitely have liked the issue to be resolved much faster and for the National Liberal Party to assume its own candidate, because we, at this moment, have our own candidate in my person, after 8 years. The last time it happened in 2016, with Cătălin Predoiu, after multiple hesitations, as well. And for a right-wing liberal party, which performed in the country, in other big cities, not to have a proposal for Bucharest, I think it would have been a strategic error”Sebastian Burduja added.
