Sebastian Vettel “Mick Schumacher needs time to digest F1 ban”[F1-Gate.com]

Mick Schumacher needs ‘warmth’ to get his F1 racing career back on track.

This is the opinion of German motor racing legend Hans-Joachim Stuck. Ferrari has pulled 23-year-old Haas F1 team driver Mick Schumacher from its driver development academy.

Ferrari said in a statement that the decision had been made “jointly”.

At the same time, Mercedes F1 announced that Michael Schumacher’s son will be the official reserve driver for all 2023 Grands Prix.

“He needs time to digest everything now,” Mick Schumacher’s friend Sebastian Vettel told Swiss newspaper Blick.

“I hope he will have a lot of courage and hope for his next job.”

“I wish him courage and hope for his next job.”

Sebastian Vettel claims Mick Schumacher has a “real chance” to return to F1 in 2024 amid rumors of interest from Audi.

“The car was nothing special and the team made a lot of mistakes,” Sebastian Vettel said of Mick Schumacher’s second season with the Haas F1 team.

German racing legend Hans-Joachim Stuck said: “Now it’s important for Mick to have a team where young drivers can feel the warmth – a team where they feel they are with them. .

“With his personality and the way he works, he will end up at Mercedes very soon. People will see what he can do.”

Mick Schumacher’s uncle, Ralf Schumacher, agrees.

“Of course it would be nice if he had a normal cockpit in 2023, but he can learn a lot in a top team like Mercedes,” Ralf Schumacher told Sport1.

“And maybe even get the chance to step in as a back-up driver.”
