Aston Martin F1 Sebastian Vettel has retired from the F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix final.
Sebastian Vettel finished 17th in qualifying, but at one point he was up to 8th. However, the machine was damaged in the form of a rear-end collision with Yuki Tsunoda (Alpha Tauri Honda). He was also hit by Kimi Raikkonen (Alfa Romeo) and eventually retired to finish the race.
“It was tough to finish the race due to a big floor break and it’s a shame I lost the chance to compete for points,” Sebastian Vettel said.
“In the early stages of the race, things were in my favor. I started 17th, but after the restart I was in the points range. I was running in front of the Ferraris, but the pace was not strong today, so I was under pressure. “
“I was hit by Kakuda in the first chicane and fell to the end. After that, there was an incident with you and the damage ruined my race. I had a position on the track and I think you had to slow down because you can’t afford to line up two cars in that corner. ”
