New York – Security threat to Twenty20 World Cup being held in United States and West Indies. The West Indies Cricket Board confirmed the terrorist threat. The West Indies board confirmed that the threat came from the northern parts of Pakistan. With this, the security of all venues where World Cup matches are held has been strengthened.

A video message in the name of the Islamic State Khorasan, which operates in Afghanistan and Pakistan, has also been released.
