New Delhi: When the Sunrisers batsmen filled the field with fireworks in the IPL, a huge score was born once again. Shahbaz Ahmed took over the big performances started by the openers in the last over and the team scored big.
Sunrisers set a target of 267 runs ahead of Delhi Capitals. At one stage it looked like 300 runs would be easily crossed. But wickets fell in the middle overs and the run rate fell, which hurt Sunrisers.
Hyderabad scored 266 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. The top scorer was opener Travis Head who scored 89 runs off 32 balls. The Sunrisers openers started the batting by proving Delhi captain Rishabh Pant’s decision wrong after winning the toss and electing to field.
After scoring 103 runs in the first 5 overs the Hyderabad players scored 125 runs in the Powerplay. This is a record in IPL. Meanwhile, Travis Head scored a half-century off just 16 balls.
Kuldeep Yadav ended the first wicket partnership on 131 runs by dismissing Abhishek Sharma who had a batting burst with Head. At a strike rate of 383, Abhishek got out after scoring 46 runs off just 12 balls. The player hit 2 fours and 6 sixes.

Kuldeep struck for the second time, dismissing Aiden Markram (1) in the last ball of the same over. In his next over, Kuldeep himself returned the dangerous end. The player scored 89 runs in 32 balls with 11 fours and 6 sixes. Hyderabad’s run rate dropped as Henrich Klaasen (15 off 8 balls) also picked up. The team scored 150 in the 8th over and crossed 200 in the 15th over.
Nitish Kumar Reddy, who scored 37 runs off 27 balls, was caught by Kuldeep Warner. Shahbaz Ahmed (59* off 29 balls) broke in the last over and the team’s score crossed 250. Skipper Pat Cummins is out for 1 run. Kuldeep took four and Mukesh Kumar and Akshar Patel took a wicket each for Delhi.
