South of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
A flash of light blooms and fills the entire dawn sky.
The air raid in the early morning of the 28th local time continued for 5 hours.
The Israeli military announced that it had eliminated Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah through this airstrike.
Hassan Nasrallah led Hezbollah for 32 years, growing it into a military organization with tens of thousands of troops and 200,000 rockets and missiles.
He was Israel’s number one assassination target after being involved in the 34-day war with Israel in 2006 and the Syrian civil war in 2011.
Israel is said to have completed preparations for an all-out war by eliminating six out of eight leaders under Nasrallah, including Hezbollah’s missile commander.
The attack targeting Hezbollah headquarters collapsed six apartments and killed at least six people.
Hezbollah, which has yet to issue a statement acknowledging Nasrallah’s death, fired more than 15 missiles into northern Israel in response to the airstrikes.
Israel did not even notify the United States of this attack in advance.
The U.S. Department of Defense explained that it was notified only after the offensive operation began.
The United States, which had drawn up a three-week ceasefire plan and was optimistic that Israel would accept it, was hit in the back.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, who attended the UN General Assembly, also dismissed the possibility of a ceasefire.

“As long as Hezbollah continues its war, Israel has no other option. Israel has every right to eliminate this threat and return its citizens home safely.”
Bombings that began a week ago have resulted in 100,000 refugees in Lebanon.
While ceasefire efforts in Lebanon, following Gaza, are fruitless, U.S. Secretary of Defense Austin expressed concern that if Israel engages in an all-out war with Hezbollah, the casualties will exceed that of the Gaza War.
