Aer Lingus unveiled its largest-ever transatlantic summer schedule, slated for 2026.the expansion focuses on⁢ increased capacity adn new direct routes, strengthening connections between Ireland and North America.

Shannon-Boston Service Boost

The airline will increase weekly flights between Shannon ⁣Airport and ‍boston Logan International Airport by three,⁣ bringing the total to ten during peak season. crucially, the additional⁤ services will feature an earlier departure time from Shannon (11:00 AM) and arrival in Boston (1:00 PM), maximizing travelers’ time upon⁤ arrival. This ⁢optimized schedule allows passengers to fully utilize their first day in Boston.

New‍ Direct Route to Raleigh-Durham

A meaningful addition to the network is a new direct route from Dublin Airport to Raleigh-Durham⁣ International Airport (RDU) in North Carolina, launching in April 2026. This marks the first time ‍Raleigh and Durham will be ⁣directly connected to Ireland by ⁤air. The new service will also serve the broader North Carolina market, which has⁤ a population ⁣exceeding ‍11 million residents, providing enhanced travel options to and from the region.
