Sharjah Hosts Premier International Textile Exhibition

The highly anticipated Premier International Textile Exhibition is set to launch on November 28 at the Expo Center in Sharjah. This exhibition is known for being the world’s largest gathering of textile and clothing manufacturers, showcasing products from India and various other countries.

Organized by the Federation of India Gujarat Weavers Welfare Association (Fogwa), the exhibition is expected to bring together more than 60 exhibitors from the textile industry, with support from Textile Traders Group (Texmas).

Additionally, India holds the distinction of being the fifth largest producer of dyes, and the source of 95% of the world’s handloom fabrics.

With a notable 43% share of India’s garment imports coming from the UAE, the exhibition will feature a wide array of products including yarns, fabrics, machines, textiles, and accessories.

The Department of Textiles, Fashion, and Manufacturing is expected to make an appearance at the event, underscoring the significance of this exhibition in the industry.

Visitors and participants will have the opportunity to explore the latest trends and innovations in the textile sector, while also fostering valuable connections and collaborations.
