Sharjah Safari Promotes Nature Conservation with ‘Go Green Grow Green’ Theme

In an effort to emphasize the importance of nature conservation, Sharjah Safari organized a special event under the theme ‘Let us plant a seedling, let us continue in the earth’. The ceremony took place at the Safari Mall in Muwaila, Sharjah, on Thursday evening at five o’clock.

The event was inaugurated by esteemed individuals including Abu Bakar Madappat, Chairman of the Fari Group of Companies, Zainul Abideen, Managing Director Rector, YA Rahim, President of the Sharjah India Association, EP Joined Johnson, former president of EP Joined Johnson, a farmer from the United Arab Emirates and Guinness World Record holder, and Mr. Sudheesh Guruvayur. The esteemed group, along with the initiators, came together to stress the significance of nature conservation.

The event showcased a diverse range of green vegetables, including yogurt, oranges, lemons, and papayas. The Safari also displayed a plethora of plants and trees such as Thyme, Panikurka, Tulsi, Henna, Aloe Vera, Aryave Medicinal plants, Asparagus, Anthurium, Bon Sai plant, cactus, and ornamental plants planted in bamboo sticks. Indoor plants and various types of seeds were also featured in the Safari.

Visitors to the Safari Go Green Grow Green promotion can witness over 200 types of plants, accompanied by essential gardening items such as plant pots, grow bags, watering cans, garden benches, grass mats, garden hoses, and a wide range of garden tools. Additionally, the basement area hosts related materials like fertilizers and potting soil for garden enthusiasts.

Furthermore, as part of the promotion, an array of ornamental fish and various bird species are being prepared for sale. The first level of Safari Mall offers a unique attraction for both children and adults, where one can engage with exotic birds like cockatoos and Tucan macaws.
