Sheffield United has moved quickly to fill it’s managerial vacancy, naming Ruben selles as their new manager. The appointment came just 45 minutes after the declaration of Chris Wilder’s departure on Wednesday.
Wilder was sacked after failing to guide the Blades to promotion through the Championship Play-Offs. Selles, formerly with Hull City, signed a three-year contract extending through June 2028. The club hopes Selles can bring a fresh viewpoint and a winning formula to the team. The new manager spoke about the possibility to lead Sheffield United.
