‘Sheikh Hasina has not only developed the country, but also made the nation free from stigma’

Sheikh Hasina has not only developed the country, but has also made the nation free from stigma and responsibility, said Minister for Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haque. He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the discussion meeting on the book ‘Sheikh Hasina Manabiktar Alokavartika’ written by Arif Ur Rahman Khan organized by Muktaman Foundation at National Press Club’s Tafazzal Hossain Manik Mia Hall on Sunday (April 28).

AKM Mozammel Haque said that the country has progressed a lot under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina. He has not only developed the country, but made the nation free from stigma and responsibility. He prosecuted Bangabandhu’s killers and prosecuted war criminals. If they were not prosecuted, the nation would not be free from stigma even today. Sheikh Hasina’s contribution in various fields cannot be overstated.

The Minister of Liberation War said that there is no shortage of food and clothing in the country now. No one walks barefoot anymore. If you go to the countryside, you can no longer see huts. Rich people now build huts lavishly. The country has changed a lot now.

He said, Bangabandhu made the country independent not only for a flag, not for a new territory, not only for a national anthem. Bangabandhu gave a dream to the nation that if the country becomes independent, the basic rights of people will be fulfilled. If the country is free then people will eat and live. Bangladesh would not have become independent if Bangabandhu was not born. We could not be citizens of a free country.

He further said that after the killing of Bangabandhu, this country has again become a religion-based state in the Pakistani style and there has been no desired development in this country. Those involved in the killing of Bangabandhu, who do not believe in the spirit of the liberation war, were in state power for 29 years. There was no development of the state during their time.

Professor Dr. Md. Among others, poet Aslam Sani, writer Arif Ur Rahman Khan, editor of Bhorer Kantha were present in the discussion chaired by Haroon Or Rashid. Hafizur Rahman and others.
