The program aims to facilitate international stock trading and deepen connectivity between Shenzhen and Hong Kong stock markets.
According to an official document titled “Guidelines for the Cross-Border Stock Connect Program for 2023 Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Holidays” (Reference: SZSE Notice [2023] No. 2), the following schedule and services have been outlined:
1. From September 27 (Wednesday) to September 28 (Thursday), the stock connect program will be available for trading, providing convenient access to the Hong Kong stock market.
2. From September 29 (Friday) to October 6 (Friday), the stock connect program will be temporarily suspended. However, the program will resume its services starting from October 9 (Monday). Please note that October 7 (Saturday) and October 8 (Sunday) are non-trading days.
3. The clearing and settlement of transactions will be handled according to the arrangements made by the China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited. Market participants are advised to fulfill their responsibilities and ensure smooth operations.
