Shield Yourself from Scammers: Hidemaru Spam Filter for Becky! v1.34 – Your Ultimate Defense Against Fraudulent Links
Hidemaru Spam Filter for Becky! v1.34 Released
“Hidemaru Spam Filter for Becky!” v1.34
Saito Kikaku has released version 1.34 of “Hidemaru Spam Filter for Becky!”, a plug-in that adds a spam filter equivalent to “Hidemaru Mail” to “Becky Internet Mail”. The main change in this version is the addition of countermeasures against spoofed URLs used in phishing emails, which have become a hot topic recently.
The spoofed URL uses syntax to embed the basic authentication ID and password, making the ID appear to be a legitimate domain and tricking the attacker into accessing the domain used for fraud after the “@” character. It has attracted a lot of attention for its sophistication that it seems almost impossible to see with the naked eye.
Although not explicitly mentioned, it appears that other measures have been taken to address the spam that has recently occurred. Additionally, a sender domain authentication filter has been added, and the country of origin identification database and organization name database have been updated.

“Hidemaru Spam Filter for Becky!” is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10/11 and Windows Server 2003 and can be used free of charge, but the number of spam emails that can be processed per day is limited to 20 emails. This restriction can be removed by purchasing a paid license for 2,640 yen.
