Shiloh Jolie Debuts in Dayoung’s K-Pop Music Video

Shiloh Jolie, the 19-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has made a surprise appearance in the teaser for a new music video by K-pop singer Dayoung. The project, titled What’s a Girl to Do, marks one of the dancer’s most visible public projects to date.

The teaser clip began circulating online on April 2, 2026, quickly drawing attention as viewers identified the featured dancer. In the footage, Jolie appears in a stylized dance sequence wearing a lacy brown halter top and large hoop earrings, with her hair styled in braids and slicked back. She is also seen lounging backwards and performing choreography alongside other dancers.

Open Audition Process

According to a representative from Starship Entertainment, the company that produced the video, Jolie was selected through an open audition process conducted in the United States. She was part of a group of performers associated with a dance crew called Culture and successfully advanced through the final round of auditions to secure her role in the production.

The production team stated that they were unaware of Jolie’s parentage during the filming process. A representative for Starship Entertainment told Maeil Business that even after filming, we had no idea she was the child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and only found out by chance quite recently.

Contrast with Family Privacy

This appearance stands in contrast to previous public statements made by Angelina Jolie regarding her children’s interests in the entertainment industry. In February 2025, during a panel at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Jolie discussed her children—Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and twins Knox and Vivienne—noting that none of them were interested in acting.

During that panel, Angelina Jolie specifically described Shiloh as extremely private and stated that she hates the celebrity aspect of her family’s fame, calling it not a normal thing and a silly thing, really.

While Jolie mentioned that some of her children enjoy painting, theatre, or dancing, she emphasized that none were dying to be on screen, though she expressed her own desire for them to be around film because of the creative nature of the medium.

The full music video for What’s a Girl to Do is scheduled for release on April 7, 2026. The appearance has already generated significant discussion due to the physical resemblance between the 19-year-old and her mother.
