Artist Mohammad Ramzan Embroiled in Assault Allegations

A woman has filed an official report against artist Mohammad Ramzan and his son Ali, accusing them of assaulting her 11-year-old son during an altercation at a sports club in the city on October 6.

The incident began as a dispute between the two children, but escalated into a physical fight, resulting in injuries to the child. The mother intervened, but was unable to resolve the situation, leading her to take legal action.

Investigation Underway

The Giza Security Directorate is investigating the incident, and has requested the prosecution to take the victim’s statement and conduct a medical examination to confirm the extent of the injuries.

Surveillance cameras recorded the incident, which was confirmed by witnesses. The footage allegedly shows Ramadan restricting the child’s movements to prevent him from reacting.

Previous Controversies

This incident comes after another crisis faced by Ramadan a few weeks ago, following the release of his song “Mish Faddi” on YouTube. A lawyer filed a report with the Actors Syndicate, demanding Ramadan’s removal from the union due to the song’s alleged promotion of hatred and crime.

Despite the controversy, Ramadan has announced his plans to present a new dramatic work during the Ramadan season of 2025. He is also set to star in the film “Black Lion”, which he began filming some time ago.
