Shooting in Tapachula, Chiapas, leaves three people dead

A strong shooting was registered this Wednesday afternoon in the San José el Edén subdivision in the Municipality of Tapachula, Chiapas.

Apparently three individuals opened fire with high-powered weapons against elements of the BOM Mixed Operations Bases, when they called a halt to them.

The balance was three people deadtwo alleged criminals and a uniformed man.

The three subjects were traveling aboard a black jeep-type vehicle, which was marked with several bullet wounds on one of the subdivision streets.

The unit carried armor on the body. So far there is one person in custody who are part of the three who were traveling aboard the black vehicle.

A tactical backpack with several supplied chargers and a weapon for the exclusive use of the Army was confiscated from the person arrested.

The State Attorney General’s Office reported that the person arrested was identified as Guillermo “N”, 28 years old.
