Simone Biles’ Husband Jonathan Owens Sets His Sights on Return to the Stadium: When You Can Expect to See Him Cheering on the Bears Again
Simone Biles to Attend Husband Jonathan Owens’ Game on September 29
Simone Biles, the Olympic superstar, was unable to watch her husband Jonathan Owens’ game from the stands for the second week in a row. However, Owens assured fans that it won’t be long before she’s seen cheering him on.
Owens, who married the Olympic legend last year, revealed that Biles would be making an appearance at Soldier Field on September 29. “She’ll be here on the 29th,” the safety told the Chicago Bears’ YouTube Channel. “She stops here on tour at 7pm that night. It’s literally perfect. So she can come to the game at 12pm, and then boom, I can go see her at 7pm. It’s a pretty cool twist.”

The Bears were in Houston for their Week 2 game on Sunday night, but Owens explained that it would have been nearly impossible for Biles to make the trip from California and back. “Her tour starts on Monday and she’s due to perform on Sunday night, so it’s going to be a tough trip back to California,” he said.
Biles is set to begin her Gold Over America tour on September 16, which will feature 30 games across the United States, culminating in Detroit on November 3. The tour is a traveling gymnastics exhibition featuring a number of gymnastics stars, including Biles and her gold medal-winning U.S. teammates Jade Carey, Jordan Childs, and Hazel Rivera.

Last week, Biles couldn’t cheer on her beau in person at the NFL, but she cheered him on in her heart. With the Bears down 17-3 with nine minutes left in the third quarter, the special teams player scored the team’s first touchdown of the season and the second of his career.
“I almost had a heart attack,” the gymnastics icon wrote after watching the clip on X, formerly known as Twitter. She also shared the video on her Instagram story, writing, “LFG!! Touchdown for hubby.”
