McCain, a 20-year-old guard who captivated fans with his electrifying play and massive social media following, was having a breakout rookie campaign. Averaging 15.3 points per game in 23 appearances,McCain quickly became a fan favorite,starting eight games and injecting energy into the Sixers’ lineup.
