Ohio Pizza Place Gives Employees Generous Labor Day Bonus

LEGO’s Brickhouse Pizza in Fairport Harbor, Lake County, Ohio, is making headlines for its generous Labor Day bonus to its employees.

The restaurant announced on Monday that it would split its sales evenly among its hard-working employees on Labor Day.

“Tomorrow is Labor Day. How do we make sure our employees feel valued and respected?” the store’s Facebook post reads.

Unlike many companies that offer their employees minimal discounts, LEGO’s Brickhouse Pizza offers its employees a whopping 100% discount.

“You can eat whatever you want for free while you’re working. Many corporate restaurants offer 20-40% discounts while you’re working. We offer 100% off,” the restaurant explained.

The announcement went viral, and local residents vowed to organize a storm to support this positive initiative.

“Can you imagine trying to keep your business going by making money from people like the people who work on your story? I’m not that kind of person,” the store’s Facebook post read.

“So that’s what we’re going to do tomorrow. We’ll be open on Labor Day. All sales coming in tomorrow will be split equally between the LEGO’s Brickhouse Pizza team. It doesn’t matter if it’s credit or cash. They will be returned in cash at the end of the shift, thanked and appreciated. They work hard.”

Many people commented on the post, praising the restaurant for its generosity.
