Snot Band Reunion Announcement
Snot, a rock band from the 1990s, is reuniting for a tour after ten years. The band will feature guitarists Mikey Doling and Sonny Mayo, bassist John “Tumor” Fahnestock, and drummer Jamie Miller. They will introduce a new lead singer, whose identity remains confidential until the first concert.
Doling revealed on the “Talk Toomey” podcast that he was inspired to reunite after seeing similar bands at festivals in 2024. He contacted the other members about finding a singer and performing together.
Finding a vocalist to replace Lynn Strait, who died in a car accident in 1998, was challenging. Snot briefly reunited in 2008 and 2014 but faced difficulties due to Strait’s legacy. They released a tribute album in 2000 featuring guest singers such as Fred Durst and Corey Taylor.
Doling described the new singer as exceptional, stating they performed five songs perfectly. He noted the singer captures the punk vibe the band seeks and impressed him greatly.
