Ali Abdel Basir, Vice President of the City of St. Catherine, said that the snow storm that the city is exposed to is severe, and is expected to increase throughout the night, due to the continuous drop in temperatures, stressing that the snow storm is falling on the city only and the mountains within its scope, and has not witnessed The valleys and villages of the city receive snow or rain.

The city’s vice president confirmed: “The city was covered in white and turned into a white castle resembling European cities.”

He explained that some tourists enjoy climbing Mount St. Catherine and watching and photographing the snow, in addition to the increase in school trips to the city during this period to see the charming nature of the city. He pointed out that all parts of St. Catherine are covered with snow, but without obstructing the roads, as the snow has been removed. Of the main roads.
