Heung-min Son of Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League (EPL) was selected as the ‘Team of the Season’ by EA Sports, a sports game company.
EA Sports announced the 15 selected players on the 7th (Korean time) after a fan vote to select the best player among EPL players.
Heung-Min Son proudly shone with EPL’s top stars such as Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United).
Son Heung-min is the only Spurs player. Liverpool had the most with 6, followed by Manchester City with 5, Manchester United with 2, West Ham United with 1 and Tottenham with 1 each.
Son Heung-min scored 19 goals in 31 games in the EPL this season, and is second in the scoring rankings behind Salah (22 goals). Ronaldo is third with 18 goals.
