Kwon Mo, the son of the chairman of a golf resort company, who was accused of illegally filming sex scenes, was sentenced to prison in the second trial following the first trial. The court was of the opinion that Mr Kwon’s excuse to ‘film sex to preserve memories’ was difficult to understand.

On the 21st, Chief Judge Park No-su of the Criminal Appeals Division of the Seoul Central District Court 2 sentenced 30-year-old Mr Kwon Mo, who was arrested and charged with shooting and distribution using a camera under the Penal Code Sexual Violence , sentenced to one year and 10 months in prison and ordered to complete a 40-hour sexual violence treatment program.

In the last test, Mr. Kwon was 2 years in prison. In addition, the first trial ordered him to disclose and notify personal information for three years and restrict employment in organizations related to children and young people for five years, but the second trial court exempted all of them.

The appellate court said, “Mr Kwon made an unconvincing pretense that he ‘filmed sex to preserve memories’, and considering the extent of the damage, the guilt is heavy.” He expressed his intention not to be punished. ,” he explained the reason for the commute.

“Given Kwon’s nationality and the risk of recidivism, we canceled the personal information disclosure notice and employment restriction order.”

Mr Kwon and others were handed over for trial in December last year on charges of illegally filming scenes of sexual intercourse with a number of women in their residences over a number of years. A month before the indictment, police arrested Kwon on his way to Incheon International Airport to leave for the United States.

Meanwhile, his secretaries Seong and Jang were sentenced to 10 months in prison and 2 years probation, respectively. The first trial sentenced them to 10 months in prison each.
