The Verge reports that Sony has restocked PlayStation Portal. It can be purchased at Best Buy retailers in the US and Sony’s PlayStation Direct store for the regular price of USD 199.99 or approximately 7,490 baht.
PlayStation Portal first launched in May 2023 as Project Q, before officially launching under the PlayStation Portal name in August. It’s a remote reader. It can stream PlayStation 5 games to PlayStation Portal over Wi-Fi, but it can’t play standalone games like the Steam Deck or Nintendo Switch.
PlayStation Portal features an 8-inch 1080p LCD display, flanked by buttons modeled after the DualSense wireless controller with adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack and the wireless headphones therefore only support the proprietary PlayStation Link protocol to be used with the Pulse Explore and Pulse Elite headphones.
