Soshina Sets Screens Ablaze as a Sultry Streamer, Igniting a Fiery Scandal for Nakajima Kento’s Lawyer Character
Soshina to Appear in TV Tokyo’s Drama 8 “After all, it’s someone else’s business – A certain lawyer’s true work”
Shimofuri Myojo’s Soshina has been confirmed to appear as a guest in the final episode of TV Tokyo’s Drama 8 “After all, it’s someone else’s business – A certain lawyer’s true work” (every Friday at 8:00 p.m.), starring singer and actor Nakajima Kento.
The comic “After all it’s someone else’s business ~A certain lawyer’s true work~” (original story: Sato Masatoshi / illustrations: Fujiya Katsuhito / supervision: Shimizu Yohei / serialized in Hakusensha’s “Kuromitsu”), which has sold over 2.1 million copies, has been adapted into a live-action film. This will be Nakajima’s first appearance in a drama on the same network, and his first leading role.
Yasuda Osamu (Nakajima) is an eccentric lawyer with a cute smile but no cute behavior whatsoever. He dismisses the people who come to him for advice, saying, “it’s none of my business,” but he solves online flame wars, social media troubles, and slander issues in a refreshing, dark way based on his own beliefs.
Soshina plays Mr. Chekera, also known as Tomoki Kawanobe, a broadcaster on the expose-type distribution channel “Mr. Chekera Tube” with over 2 million subscribers. When Mr. Chekera’s accusatory video becomes a firebrand, Yasuda, whose motto is “it’s someone else’s problem,” is faced with a ”personal” flaming incident. Will Yasuda be able to get to the dark side of the internet troubles hidden behind the flaming?
One day, Yasuda himself suddenly became the target of a flame war. In addition to harassment such as prank orders, he received slanderous comments on social media such as “the worst” and “a trash lawyer”, and even received a petition for disciplinary action against him.
The spark was Mr. Chekera, an exposer with 2 million followers. He accused a lawyer who he thought was Yasuda of misusing personal information he had obtained in the course of his work. Yasuda had no idea what he was doing, and Kagami Akari (Shiraishi Sei) was furious. He didn’t seem to mind, but the flames were getting worse with each passing day…
