The starting lineup of the Korean baseball team to participate in the evaluation game with Orix was revealed.

The Korean World Baseball Classic (WBC) team, led by head coach Lee Kang-cheol, will play an evaluation game against the Orix Buffaloes at Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan at noon on the 6th.

After entering Osaka, Japan on the 4th, the national team underwent team training at the Orix 2nd Army training ground on the 5th.

Previously, the national team played unofficial practice games with NC Dinos, KIA Tigers, KT Wiz, and SSG Landers 2nd Army in the United States and Korea. However, considering the strength of Korea’s composition and the opposing teams, it was difficult to see it as a very evaluation game.

Coach Lee said after training the day before, “Meanwhile, the opposing team has not risen in the practice game, so I scored a lot, and it was ambiguous to carry out the strategy.”

He continued, “We will play the two practice games (Orix vs. Hanshin) the same as the real game. The short game will be held after a long time. I will do a simulation. I have said all stories from the players.”

Before the practice match, Korea’s starting lineup was revealed.

Edmon (2nd baseman) – Kim Ha-seong (3rd baseman) – Lee Jung-hoo (center fielder) – Kim Hyun-soo (left fielder) – Park Byeong-ho (1st baseman) – Kang Baek-ho ( designated hitter) – Yang Eui-ji (catcher) – Na Seong-beom (right fielder) – The lineup was arranged in order Oh Ji-hwan (shortstop). The starting pitcher is Sohn Joon, the local ace of KT Wiz.

Judging that Choi Jeong’s condition is not perfect yet, he waits for another sortie in the dugout. As a result, Kim Ha-seong moved to third base, and Oh Ji-hwan took over at shortstop.
