SpaceX Successfully Launches American and Russian Crew Members to International Space Station

A rocket from SpaceX, a private American space development company carrying American and Russian crew members, was successfully launched on the 3rd.

The top of the Falcon 9 launched Endeavor into its initial orbit 9 minutes after launch, and live video from inside Endeavor showed three American crew members and one Russian crew member wearing helmets .

After a 16-hour orbital flight, they are scheduled to connect to the International Space Station (ISS), which is orbiting around 420 km above Earth, early in the morning (the 5th), and will alternate missions with the existing team at inside the ISS.

Russian crewman Alexander Grebenkin is the latest astronaut to fly aboard a U.S. spacecraft under an agreement signed between NASA and the Russian Federation Space Agency in 2022, Reuters reported.

Previously, Endeavor’s launch was scheduled for the 2nd, but the launch schedule was postponed by a day due to strong winds.
