Thunderbolts* saw moderate box-office success, Marvel is banking on a familiar face: Tom Holland. the
latest installment,Spider-Man: Brand New Day,promises fresh additions and a new direction.
Holland will reprise his role as the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, alongside zendaya. Destin daniel
Cretton, known for directing Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, is set to direct.
Jon Bernthal,known for his role as the Punisher,joins the cast,according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Bernthal first appeared as The Punisher in Netflix’s daredevil in 2016, later headlining his own series
in 2019. He also returned for Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+ in 2025.
Sadie Sink, recognized for her role in Stranger Things and The Whale, will also take on a new
role in the Marvel Universe, Deadline reported. while her specific role remains unconfirmed, speculation
suggests she may portray Jean Gray, also known as Phoenix, or perhaps another version of Mary Jane.
Holland revealed the title, Spider-Man: Brand New day, at CinemaCon 2025. He described it as a “fresh
start” in a video message.
