Standard Chartered has extended the sign-up bonus promotion for its Visa Infinite credit card through August 30, 2026, according to reporting by MainlyMiles. New cardholders who meet a minimum spending requirement of S$2,000 within their first 60 days of card membership can earn up to 50,000 miles, even if they already hold another credit card with the bank.

The promotion has seen multiple deadline extensions since it was initially launched in April 2025 to replace a lower 35,000-mile offer, as reported by MainlyMiles. Under the current extension, the application window remains open until August 30, 2026. The sign-up award is split into two distinct criteria for principal cardholders.

Applicants earn the first 25,000 miles, equivalent to 62,500 Rewards Points, upon payment of the non-waivable first-year annual fee of S$599.50. An additional 25,000 miles are awarded after meeting the minimum eligible spend of S$2,000 within the first 60 days following card approval.

Transaction Posting Dates and Earning Mechanics

Meeting the spending threshold requires careful attention to transaction timelines. According to MainlyMiles, the transaction posting date dictates eligibility rather than the date the purchase is made. Purchases that post after the 60-day window do not count toward the requirement, meaning cardholders must complete transactions well in advance of the deadline.

These bonus miles supplement the regular base miles accrued during the initial spending period. Local spending generates 1.4 miles per dollar, provided the cardholder charges at least S$2,000 in a single statement month. Because the 60-day window typically straddles two statement cycles, cardholders must concentrate their spending into a single cycle to trigger the higher rate. Spreading the S$2,000 across two statements drops the earn rate to the base 1 mile per dollar, according to MainlyMiles.

Cardholders utilizing the card’s overseas foreign currency earn rate of 3 miles per dollar during the same window can increase their total haul to 56,000 miles, according to reporting by MainlyMiles. Total earnings for local spending combined with the maximum sign-up bonus reach 52,800 miles, which is sufficient for a Business Class saver award redemption from Singapore to destinations such as Beijing or Shanghai.

Delayed Credit Schedule for Bonus Miles

Standard Chartered revised its fulfillment timeline for the promotion, shifting away from rapid crediting. While the annual fee bonus initially credited within six days of card activation, the bank implemented a delayed schedule beginning November 7, 2025.

Both the annual fee bonus and the spending bonus now credit up to approximately three months later. For instance, cardholders approved or activated in August 2026 will receive their bonus miles by November 30, 2026, according to the schedule cited by MainlyMiles. The two bonuses remain tied to separate qualifying dates within the account terms.
