Despite teasing and setting an actual release date for Star Wars Outlaws’ big reveal for days, the French publisher managed to fumble at the one-yard line and leak their own teaser just hours before it was supposed to go live . Needless to say, this means the big story trailer confirmation that Outlaws will launch this August doesn’t come with the same gravitas. But that doesn’t change the fact that the story trailer gives us another good look at Ubisoft Massive’s promising action-adventure game (the team won’t release Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora until December 2023… … Somehow). In it we can see and discover some of the gangs and criminal factions that will hinder the protagonist Kay Vess in what Ubisoft describes as “The first open-world Star Wars game”He explores the galaxy in an attempt to purchase his freedom and also meets some iconic faces like Jabba the Hutt and Han Solo (who at this point is frozen in carbonite as the game is set between Episodes V and VI). Check out the awesome trailer below to see all the Star Wars goodness we love. Star Wars Outlaws will debut on August 30, but those who purchase the Gold or Ultimate version of the game will get three days of early access starting on August 27, along with some extra goodies.
