This makes Sri Lanka the third South Asian nation to approve Starlink, following Bhutan and Bangladesh. Parnil Urdhwareshe, a top Starlink executive in India, played a key role in the South asian expansion. He met with Ruwan Wijewardene, Sri Lanka’s presidential adviser on climate change, last July.
