Stasia Commins (née Doherty), of Banagher, Piltown, Co. Kilkenny, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026, at Mooncoin Residential Care Center, following a short illness.
She was predeceased by her husband, jim, and siblings jimmy, Dick, paddy, John, Joe, Nelly, and Mary.
Stasia is survived by her daughters Marie and Laura, sons Alan, Frank, Paul, david, Brian, and Leo, brother Willie, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Walsh’s Funeral Home, carrick on Suir, on Monday, January 12th, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, followed by removal to the Church of the Assumption, Piltown. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday,January 13th,at 12:30 PM,wiht burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
