Director Chandran Narikode’s new movie ‘Statebus’ is all set to release with Santosh Keezhatoor and Vigilesh in the lead roles. The film will soon reach the audience. The film is being produced by IB Raveendran and Padmakumar under the banner of Studio C Cinemas. State Bus is the second film to be directed by Chandran Narikode after ‘Pati’ which has bagged many international awards.

Although State Bus is a travel movie that discusses social politics through the conflicting realities of life, the film is set in a family setting. The film is also a family thriller with suspense, thrill and action. The script of the film is mixed with comedy in a way that entertains the audience with serious social issues. The film captures the people and experiences we encounter in our daily lives.

Director Chandran Narikode said that the story of the state bus unfolds through the incidents that take place when two policemen are traveling in a state bus with an accused from Kannur Central Jail. The film follows a journey. The story revolves around an incident that takes place inside a KSRTC bus. The state bus goes through moments of love, brotherhood and hatred.

The director pointed out. The director said that the film is designed to entertain all types of audiences. The rural scenes of North Kerala are beautifully captured by the camera. The background music composed by the famous musician Mohan Sithara after a long time is also a novelty of this film. The music for the songs has been composed by Anugrahita Sangeetha Pratibha Vidyadharanmash. State Bus is a film that stands out from the rest of the recent Malayalam films in terms of theme and expression. The film was set in various parts of North Kerala.
