Hollywood star Steven Seagal (72) was captured by the media attending the fifth inauguration ceremony of Russian President Vladimir Putin (72).

President Putin held his fifth inauguration ceremony at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow, Russia, on the 7th. President Putin won the fifth presidential election last March, following the presidential elections in 2000, 2004, 2012, and 2018.

Steven Seagal, a Tibetan Buddhist, attended President Putin’s inauguration wearing black oriental clothing.

According to foreign media reports, Steven Seagal called President Putin “the world’s greatest leader” to reporters. He also predicted that Russia would develop significantly during President Putin’s term.

Steven Seagal is a pro-Russian figure who also supported Russia’s removal of the Crimean peninsula from Ukraine in 2014. President Putin has always been interested in martial arts and has developed a close relationship with Segal. The two are said to have practiced Hapkido together and studied Judo and Sambo fighting techniques together.

President Putin granted Russian citizenship to Steven Seagal in 2016. Steven Seagal is known to be a dual citizen who also maintains American citizenship.

Steven Seagal is known in Korea for action films such as ‘Hard To Kill’ and ‘Under Siege’.
