Kochi: Petrol and diesel prices have been hiked for the second day in a row. Petrol price was hiked by 90 paise and diesel by 84 paise. In two days, petrol will cost Rs 1.78 more and diesel Rs 1.69 more.
With this, in Thiruvananthapuram today, petrol will cost Rs 108.35 and diesel Rs 95.38. In Kochi it is Rs 106.08 and Rs 93.24 respectively. In Kozhikode, petrol costs Rs 106.35 and diesel Rs 93.45.
Yesterday, petrol was hiked by 88 paise and diesel by 85 paise. This was followed by another price hike. The price of cooking gas for domestic use was also increased by Rs 50 yesterday.
