Subaru introduced two anniversary editions for the American market at the Boxerfest 2026 event in York, Pennsylvania, featuring the WRX GD25 2027 and the BRZ ZC15 2027 to mark the respective model milestones. Subaru of America confirmed that production will cap at 350 units for the WRX and 300 units for the BRZ.
Subaru Builds WRX GD25 to Mark 25 Years
The WRX GD25 marks 25 years since the WRX arrived in the United States in 2002, drawing its designation from the original GD chassis code. Subaru builds the model exclusively in World Rally Blue with gold-painted 19-inch wheels, Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires, and Brembo brakes featuring gold calipers. A carbon-fiber rear wing mounted on swan-neck supports mirrors the component used on Travis Pastrana’s WRX ARA25L rally car.
Mechanical upgrades include a flexible strut tower brace, stiffer springs, and retuned dampers. A turbocharged 2.4-liter flat-four engine puts out 271 horsepower through an all-wheel-drive system paired strictly with a six-speed manual transmission and an STI short-throw shifter. Inside the cabin, Recaro seats feature black Ultrasuede upholstery with red stitching. Deliveries across the United States begin in the summer of 2027.

BRZ ZC15 Honors 15 Years of Sports Car
The BRZ ZC15 honors 15 years of the sports car in the United States by referencing the ZC chassis code of the first-generation model launched in 2012. The vehicle features an exclusive Ceramic White exterior paint color, matte bronze wheels, and gold Brembo brake calipers that echo the color scheme of the 2020 BRZ tS. Bronze lower door stripes, a black trunk-lid spoiler, and an under-hood V-shaped flexible draw stiffener round out the exterior appearance.
Inside, the car features black upholstery with dark red sections, an STI short-throw shifter, and an interior ZC15 badge. Power comes from a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter flat-four engine producing 228 horsepower directed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. Initial arrivals at dealerships in the United States are scheduled for early 2027.

Canadian Availability And Pricing Details To Follow
Subaru has not clarified whether either anniversary edition will reach Canadian buyers, noting that production figures apply strictly to the American market. The manufacturer announced that detailed technical specifications and vehicle pricing will be released closer to the official launch dates.
