Sudan Rebellion; Former Sudanese dictator Al-Bashir and his associates are in a military hospital

Khartoum: Sudan’s former dictator al-Bashir and his associates are in a military hospital, the army said. After the conflict began, there was a question about Al-Bashir’s whereabouts. A few officials including former Defense Minister Abdel Rahim Muhammad Hussain are also in the hospital.

The civil fighting that has been going on since April 15 in Sudan has seen some relief in recent days. Under pressure from the United States, the army and the paramilitary RSF agreed to a ceasefire until last night. As the civil war intensified, former dictator al-Bashir and his associates went into hiding.

So far 460 civilians have been killed in the civil war in Sudan. More than 4,000 people were injured. Of these, 166 deaths were in the capital, Khartoum. More than 2300 people here were injured.
