Supriya talks about when Kuruthi came to cinema
‘Kuruthi’ is a movie directed by newcomer Manu Warrier with Prithviraj in the lead. The film, which was released last week via Amazon Prime, has received mixed reviews. Meanwhile, Prithviraj’s wife and co – producer Supriya Menon talks about Kuruthi’s arrival in cinema.
Supriya said that she was reading the script when Prithviraj Kovid was in quarantine. After reading the script, Prithviraj sent her to read it. Supriya made the revelation in an interview with The Quinty.
“It simply came to our notice then. We were on two floors of the same flat as Prithviraj Kovid confirmed. Prithviraj was texting the script saying that he could not see it so he read a good script. So my first reaction was to just sit around for a few days without reading the script. It was like being a wife. But then Prithviraj insisted that it should be read anyway. So I read and I was amazed. With that, I realized that this was something that could be done during the Kovid period, ”said Supriya.

Apart from Prithviraj, Prithviraj, Roshan Mathew, Murali Gopi, Shine, Tom Chacko, Srinda, Mamukoya, Manikandan Rajan, Navas Vallikkunnu, Sagar Surya and Nasreen are also playing the lead roles in Kuruthi. Aneesh Pallyal is writing the script for the film.
