TEHERAN, KOMPAS.com – Iran responds to the deployment of the United States military fleet to the Middle East.
A senior official Iran said they considered every attack an all-out war.
“This military deployment, we hope it is not intended for real confrontation, but our military is prepared for the worst case scenario. This is why everything is on high alert in Iran,” said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, quoted from The Self-reliantSaturday (24/1/2026).
“This time we will treat any attack limited, unlimited, targeted, kinetic, whatever you want to call it, as an all-out war against us, and we will respond in the harshest way possible to get this done,” he continued.

The US fleet arrived within days
It is indeed known that in the next few days, the aircraft carrier group AS and other military assets will arrive in the Middle East.
“If the US violates Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, we will respond,” the Iranian official said.
However, he refused to explain specifically what Iran’s response woudl be.
“A country that is constantly under military threat from the US has no other choice but to ensure that everything it has can be used to fight back. If possible,restore balance against anyone who dares to attack iran,” he explained.

President Donald Trump on Thursday (22/1/2026) said the US had a “fleet” heading to Iran but hoped he would not have to use it.
