Survival Against the Odds: The Incredible Story of 3 Children Escaping a Mysterious Forest with the Help of a Dog

Background Revealed: Three Children Survive Mysterious Forest with Help of a Dog

After an astonishing escape from the perilous Huai Kha Khaeng forest area, the background of the three resilient youngsters who managed to survive for two nights and three days has been unveiled. Prasit Chanthorn, the valiant leader of the rescue team from Ban Rai District, Uthai Thani Province, shed light on the incredible journey of these children in an exclusive interview with Matichon Online.

In a treacherous mountain forest nestled within the Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Reserve, located a staggering 40 kilometers away from their original entry point, the children found themselves hopelessly lost. This very spot was where a pilgrim had tragically fallen victim to a wild buffalo, underlining the dangers that lurked within.

Prasit disclosed that upon their emergence from the forest, the children were visibly exhausted and terrified. They managed to survive by foraging mushrooms and ingeniously boiling them in bamboo tubes for sustenance during the day. Lighting a fire at night proved impossible due to the damp and frigid conditions. In the forest, darkness and fear engulfed their nights, forcing them to seek refuge on elevated surfaces, such as rocks, in their desperate attempts to sleep.

When asked about the discovery of the children, Prasit narrated how an arduous joint effort by the search and rescue team, accompanied by the National Park Service, tirelessly scoured the area day and night. Prior to entering the forest, a solemn ceremony was conducted, invoking the guardian spirits of the forest for guidance and beseeching them to lead the team to the children’s whereabouts at every crucial juncture.

“As we ventured deeper, we were surprised to encounter a dog accompanying the children,” Prasit revealed. “Strangely, the children claimed that they had followed this very dog, which ultimately led them a staggering distance of 40 kilometers away from their original position. It took us over five arduous hours to escort the children to safety.”

Admitting his initial concerns, Prasit acknowledged the inherent dangers posed by this perilous forest, which discourages anyone, other than the park officers on patrol, from venturing inside. Elephants, bears, and bulls are just a few of the treacherous obstacles that had to be expertly maneuvered around by the search team, who fortunately benefited from the guidance of the experienced officers. The intricate knowledge possessed by these officers proved invaluable in ensuring everyone’s safety.

The rescue team leader in Ardal Ban Rai further disclosed, “We have also learned that this forest was once inhabited by a commune of olden communists. Many individuals mysteriously disappeared within its confines, never to reemerge. Even some officers willingly took their own lives, forsaking their existence in this very forest. Additionally, within the forest, we uncovered the wreckage of a Japanese plane. Given the circumstances, it is truly a miracle that these three young individuals managed to emerge unscathed.”

Revealing the background of 3 children who survived, following a dog until they were able to escape from the mysterious forest.

“Normally, the officers don’t allow anyone to enter the forest over there. It is a dangerous area. of wild animals, large animals, including elephants and gaurs.” Prasit Chanthorn, rescue team leader, Ban Rai District, Uthai Thani Province Interview with Matichon Online After successfully rescuing 3 youngsters who were lost in the Huai Kha Khaeng forest area for 2 nights and 3 days.

They got lost in the mountain forest. In the middle of the Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Reserve It’s 40 kilometers away from the original place we walked in!!

and where the officers found the children This is the same spot where a pilgrim was gored to death by a wild buffalo.

The leader of the rescue team in Ban Rai District said that after coming out of the forest, he found that the children felt tired and scared And he told the initial officers that he had survived throughout the 2 nights and 3 days and he spent in the forest by boiling the mushrooms he picked in a bamboo tube and eating them as food. During the day it was enough to build a fire. But at night I couldn’t light a fire. Because the weather was damp and very cold In the forest there was only darkness and fear. To sleep at night, try to sleep on a high place, such as on a rock.

When asked how he met the children, Prasit said A team of rescue workers and a team from the National Park Service Roll out the carpet and move to find children day and night. Before entering the forest at an important point, a ceremony was held to light incense and candles, asking the prince of the forest to open a path into the forest to find the children. Let’s meet every time, every point.

“The team that went in said there was also a dog in the house. He walked around and the children who came out said, As he sat he saw a dog. So I tried to follow the dog until I saw the officer. Measured by the distance, it was surprising how far from the original spot they had come into the area where the dogs were found. They then followed the dog for a distance of 40 kilometers and the children themselves were confused as to how they had gone that far. It took us more than 5 hours to get the children out safely.”

Prasit said I admit that before meeting the children Although there is hope Because every department and every sector is working together to their full potential. But I couldn’t help but be worried. Because of the forest in this area, everyone I knew, apart from the park officers who went on patrol, that no one was going in. It is full of danger. Because even the search team had to avoid elephants, bears and bulls, it was good that they went with the officers who were walking that route. So you know how to avoid it.

“We also heard that in the past this forest was an old communist village. People often disappeared, and sometimes they couldn’t come out. Officers themselves have taken their own lives and abandoned them in this forest before. In the forest, we found the remains of a Japanese plane that had fallen into the forest. We consider the three young people very lucky to have come out of the forest safely,” said the leader of the rescue team in Ardal Ban Rai.
