Suspending G1 licenses for the second time for 49 businesses providing online games

This is the second time that 49 online game providers have had their licenses to provide G1 online game services suspended for a period of 3 months.

On April 12, the Ministry of Information and Communications issued Decision No. 543/QD-BTTTT suspending the license to provide G1 online game services (second time) for 49 businesses.

49 businesses had their licenses to provide G1 online game services suspended with violations determined to mean that the G1 service provider did not fully meet the corresponding conditions as prescribed, after having was requested by the Ministry of Information and Communications to fix it in writing and did not periodically report to state management agencies. The above suspension decision is for a period of 3 months.

Previously, on October 11, 2023, the Ministry of Information and Communications also issued Decision No. 1934/QD-BTTTT suspending the license to provide G1 online game services (first time) for 52 businesses for the same reason. due to the above. After that, 3 businesses on the list had reports to explain and correct the violations and were considered and handled by local Departments of Information and Communications so they were not included in the second suspension list.
