Navigating the AI Revolution: Symmetri Secures $6 Million to‍ Help Brands Speak the Language of ‍AI

The rise⁢ of AI tools ⁤like ChatGPT and Gemini is rapidly changing how consumers discover details and make purchasing decisions. As conventional search engines take a backseat, brands are scrambling to adapt ⁢to this new “agent economy.” Enter Symmetri, a⁣ startup armed with $6 million in seed funding, ready to help brands not just survive, but thrive in this AI-driven landscape.

Founded by‍ enterprise software ⁣veterans Tom Chavez (formerly of Habu and LiveRamp), Vivek Vaidya (formerly of Rapt and Habu),⁢ and Steven Wolfe pereira (formerly of Datalogix), Symmetri ⁢aims to bridge the gap between brands and AI agents. The company envisions a future where AI agents touch every corner of the digital world, from commerce and finance to legal and marketing.

“Today, you already see brands struggling because traffic is not coming from Google searches anymore, and the consumer ⁤experience has been already radically transformed⁣ where it starts with an LLM,” explains Steven Wolfe⁢ Pereira, Symmetri’s chief growth officer.⁣ “How do brands prepare for this agentic world? That’s where we come in with this view ‍of data first to really power ⁣what we really believe is‍ a learning system.”

Making Brands “Readable” for AI

Symmetri’s⁣ core technology focuses on building specialized⁤ AI agents that help brands navigate AI search and the evolving⁣ customer journey. One key offering is an “answer engine” agent. This agent simulates consumer queries within platforms like ChatGPT and Perplexity, then⁢ analyzes the responses to reveal how a brand performs against its competitors.

“Those agents are going off, pulling all⁤ of those LLMs, posing those questions, compiling the results, making sense of them, cutting them into analytic results⁢ now that⁣ are bubbled up into⁢ a dashboard,” says CEO Tom Chavez.

Armed with these insights, brands can⁢ then craft targeted content formatted in Markdown, a⁤ text format‍ easily digestible by AI agents. As Chavez notes, “Machines‍ don’t want to see all the pretty⁢ pictures and all the little marketing flourishes, right? they want raw data.”

Beyond Search: Personalized Loyalty and ⁤Content Control

Symmetri’s ambitions extend beyond AI search optimization. the platform also⁢ helps brands deliver more relevant loyalty offers by‍ analyzing customer activity and payment data to identify the promotions and rewards most likely to⁢ resonate with individual⁤ customers. This allows for highly tailored and effective loyalty programs.

Furthermore, recognizing the challenges⁢ publishers face in controlling their content within the AI ecosystem, Symmetri is developing a tool ⁤that allows publishers to selectively share content with AI systems. Rather of resorting
