The announcement came during an interview at the 2026 Grammy Awards, solidifying long-held speculation about the Atlanta rapper’s retirement.
T.I., whose real name is Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., first unveiled plans for Kill The King back in 2021. The project will be released through his Grand Hustle Records label. The lead single, “LET ‘EM KNOW,” released on , features production from legendary artist Pharrell Williams, signaling a strong finish to his recording career.
“It’s a blessing, man. ‘LET ‘EM KNOW,’ produced by Pharrell. My first single off of my final album. I’m gonna be done. They should know it,” T.I. Told Entertainment Tonight on . “I’ve said it before. It’s time.”
