T20 Mumbai League Returns With Star-Studded Lineup

Mumbai is set to host the highly anticipated T20 Mumbai League 2025, marking it’s return after a six-year hiatus. The Mumbai T20 tournament, a premier domestic cricket event, begins today and continues until June 12. Matches will be held at Wankhede Stadium and DY Patil Stadium.
Cricket fans can look forward to seeing prominent players, including India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane, Shivam Dube, and Prithvi Shaw. Young talents like Musheer Khan and Angkrish Raghuvanshi are also expected to shine, adding a fresh dynamic to the competition. The T20 cricket league aims to reclaim its status as a top franchise-based T20 championship in India.
The eight-team competition features 23 matches, with teams representing various Mumbai regions: North Mumbai panthers, ARCS Andheri, Triumph Knights Mumbai North East, Bandra Blasters, Eagle Thane Strikers, Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburbs, SoBo Mumbai Falcons, and Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals.
During the league stage, four matches will be played daily across both stadiums. Wankhede Stadium will host matches at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., while DY Patil Stadium will host matches at 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The semi-finals (June 10) and the final (June 12) are scheduled to take place at Wankhede Stadium.
