Taiwan⁣ Salt Green Energy⁢ Chairman Chen Qiu Fails to Appear in Court

⁢ (Central⁤ News Agency reporter Zhang Rongxiang, ‌Tainan, 2nd) Taiwan Salt Green Energy Optoelectronics In a detention court held yesterday⁣ for‍ the fraud⁤ case, former ⁣chairman ‍Chen Qiu did not appear in‍ court. A ⁢preliminary investigation ‍by the Southern Prosecutor’s Office found that Chen Qiu is⁣ still in the country, and a warrant ​has been issued by ⁢Tainan and ​Kaohsiung prosecutors and maritime patrols to gather hundreds of people to‍ follow him.

​ The Tainan District ‌Prosecutor’s Office told CNA ⁣reporters​ today that prosecutors are conducting extensive investigations against Chen Qiu. The Qiaotu District Prosecutor’s Office issued a warrant⁢ for arrest and notified the Tainan City Police Department, ​Kaohsiung City Police Department, Coast Guard, Ministry. Justice Investigation Bureau and other units to assist​ in the full pursuit.

⁣ The Southern ⁣Prosecutor’s Office said Chen Qiu was ⁣restricted from traveling by sea ⁤and leaving the country ‍on October⁣ 24. Currently, prosecutors,​ police and the Coast Guard are mobilizing ⁣hundreds of people to invest ⁣in the⁤ use of technical⁤ investigative methods such‍ as⁢ tracking and positioning, failing which‍ an arrest will be made, and a wanted notice will be issued.
‍

⁤ ⁤ The Southern District ‌Prosecutor’s ⁢Office investigated the case of optoelectronic fraud and ‍ordered ⁣Chen Qiu, former general‌ manager⁤ of Taiwan‌ Salt Green Energy, Su Kunhuang, former deputy ‌general manager Surname Guo, Surname Su of Honghui International Company, and the person⁤ in charge.‍ Chawang ⁢Development ​Company will be detained on October ‍23 and sent ⁢back to the District Court for judgment.

‍ Tainan District Court held ⁤a ⁤detention court for Chen Qiu and five others at‍ 11 a.m. yesterday, after nearly seven hours of questioning, Chen Qiu never appeared.

The other four defendants, the district court ⁣ruled at about 10 o’clock ‌last night, Su Kunhuang and the person in charge of Honghui International Company are not seen in custody, and the former⁤ deputy general manager⁤ of​ Taiwan Salt Green. The power surname Guo and the person in charge of⁣ Chaoyang‍ Development Company should ⁣be sent back ‍to the surname Dai. The ⁢Southern Prosecutor’s ‌Office⁢ will consider filing a⁢ protest against Guo and Dai.
