The Taiwan Railways said that during the improvement period of the Jiji branch tunnel project, the trains will be shortened from Ershui Station to Zhuoshui Station, with 18 trains running per day. The trains will be suspended from Zhuoshui Station to Checheng Station and will be replaced by highway connection services. In accordance with the current highway connection mode from Jiji Station to Checheng Station, in order to facilitate passenger transfer services, the number of connecting vehicles will be increased during holidays, and additional stops will be planned at the Institute of Biodiversity of the Ministry of Agriculture/Military History Park to promote local tourism travel.
