Divorce ‌Lawyer Spider – Compensation ⁤Battle Edition Unveils Main Visual and Trailer

The main visual and trailer for ⁣the‌ second NTV Friday’s EDGE drama “Divorce Lawyer‍ Spider – Compensation Battle‍ Edition” (starting October 4th, every Friday at 12:35am), starring actress Takahashi Maryjun, were released on the 16th.

This is a completely original and ⁢exciting legal entertainment ‍film in which a lawyer with the mottos “zero initial fee” and “alimony ⁣is‌ a passport to restart your life” thoroughly crushes “shitty⁢ husbands” with unconventional investigations. The protagonist, divorce lawyer Asuka Mikumo (Takahashi), fights thoroughly for women ​who‍ have ‍been unfairly oppressed and hurt, and mercilessly collects compensation.

The main visual is designed to symbolize the strength of ⁢Mikumo’s⁢ will, which earned her‍ the nickname “Spider”‍ from other lawyers ⁢for her⁤ relentless ⁢method of collecting compensation from ‌the opposing party​ for her clients. Mikumo’s powerful⁤ gaze ‌in a bright⁣ red suit is impressive, and ‌in the​ background, spider webs that entangle evil are⁣ spread out.

Behind Mikumo are paralegal Jun Ikemoto (Kohei Higuchi), who uses his extensive IT knowledge to support her, and freelance investigator Maika​ Ihara (Nagisa Shibuya), who Mikumo trusts and is skilled at undercover investigations. Mikumo’s​ ex-husband and key figure lawyer Tatsuya Ichinose (Nobuaki Kaneko), who was the catalyst for her to focus on the divorce defense, is alone, looking in a different direction from the other three,‌ with an enigmatic air about him. The visuals allow⁤ us‍ to imagine how the relationship between the two, who divorced right after their wedding ceremony after⁢ Tatsuya’s “cheating” ‍was discovered just before the ceremony, will develop in the story.

A preview video was also​ released for‍ the first time, hinting at Mikumo’s determination in defending her‍ divorce.
