The ‘fisheries food traceability system’ is a system that records and manages the history information of aquatic products from the fishing ground to the table and discloses it to consumers so that they can choose aquatic products with confidence. It was created by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries to further strengthen consumers’ right to know and control the safety of aquatic food, and has been implemented since 2014. In this reorganization, the information input step is reduced from step 4 to step 2, and information confirmed by users is also simplified and applied to essential content such as producer, time of production, and location of production. In particular, NS Home Shopping, which is participating for the first time as a home shopping company, expects that this seafood tracking pilot project will be a good device to provide consumers with safe food.
