“Talisca” announces the end of its season with Al-Nasr Saudi Club

Brazilian player Anderson Talisca, striker for Al-Nasr Saudi Football Club, announced that his season with the capital club, Riyadh, has ended due to injury.

Talisca (30 years old) wrote on his account on the “X” platform: “I am heading to Italy to face another challenge. “Begin the journey of overcoming your rectus femoris dislocation.”

Talisca stressed that injury is part of the sport, but he is determined to begin the recovery journey now, promising to return stronger next season to contribute more to Al-Nasr’s successes.

Talisca was injured in the penultimate training session before Al-Nasr faced Al-Ain of the United Arab Emirates (0-1) yesterday, Monday, in the first leg of the AFC Champions League quarter-finals, which prompted Portuguese coach Luis Castro to summon Senegalese Sadio Mane to compensate for the absence of the Brazilian striker.

Talisca’s absence at the end of the season constitutes a major blow to Al-Nasr, which is second in the Saudi League, nine points behind Al-Hilal.

Talisca occupies third place in the ranking of scorers in the Saudi League this season, as he scored 16 goals, six behind his Portuguese colleague Cristiano Ronaldo and three behind Serbian Alexander Mitrovic (Al Hilal).
