Tarar vs Khattak: The Fiery Face-Off That’s Setting the Nation Ablaze
During the National Assembly session, a clash broke out between Federal Minister for Broadcasting and Information Atta Tarar and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) National Assembly Member Shahid Khattak.
In the session of the National Assembly, different measures were brought by the government through the supplementary agenda.
Meanwhile, the opposition party created a ruckus in the National Assembly session. The opposition surrounded the speaker, and tore up copies of the measure.
There was also an argument between PTI’s Shahid Khattak and PML-N’s Atta Tarar. When the situation worsened, the Sergeant at Arms entered the house.
Loud slogans were raised from both sides in the House. Atta Tarar raised slogans of ‘Baji Chor is the founder of PTI, Qasim’s Baba is Chor, Pinky, Gogi and Captain Loot have stolen Pakistan’.
In the session of the National Assembly, the term of the three chiefs of the armed forces was 5 years and the number of judges in the Supreme Court was increased from 17 to 34, while the number of judges in the Islamabad High Court was increased from 9 to 12.
Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar introduced the amendment bills to increase the number of judges and customs and procedures in the National Assembly, the amendment bills to increase the tenure of the chiefs of the armed forces to 5 years were introduced by Defense Minister Khawaja Asif.
After approving the reform bills amid loud slogans from the opposition, the Speaker of the National Assembly adjourned the proceedings of the meeting until 11am tomorrow.
